Hello Academaniacs!

Welcome to Detention! In this episode I’m joined by Co-host Chris Burlew (@burlew_chris ) GM of the Redemption Podcast  as well as the GM of the Smuggler’s Blue Streaming show. And our guest this week is Sam the designer of the new horror movie RPG SLASH! which just finished a great run on Kickstarter.

 
  • Extra Curricular –  

    • Chris  –  Not a lot going on, lots of work stuff. Mini vaca with scouts doing a river cleanup.  Feeling under the weather.
    • Michael  – Has a kidney stone (boo!), Went to GenCon (yay!), The new Marvel RPG, Sword of the Serpentine (fantasy Gumshoe), AcadeCon KS goes live next week!
    • Sam –   bery busy on the design of SLASH! and running the Kickstarter for it,  a Sr in UC Berkley, moved in dorm for this year.  Took TTRPG club co-ordinator position,  road trip to Colorado coming up. Finished Owlhouse. Avatar the Last Airbender.

    10 things –  

    • Michael  – top 10 Bad super heroes
    • Chris –  10 favorite Horror movies
    •  Sam  – 10 computer languages and/or terms.

    Used Books:   Sam talks about a series of one shots he ran in an overarching mystery game. both good and the bad.

    Where have our fingers been?  

    • Sam – 2 people examining a dead body looking for clues
    • Chris – 2 people who just committed a murder on accident and need to deal with the body
    • Michael –  2 goblins examining a murdered body looking for clues. 

    Cryptozoology:   The False Hydra

    Q&A:  Sam gets the usual action figure accessories question.
