Wow! This is a humbling and exciting honor! Seeing our name listed under “Best Podcast” is simply mind-blowing. We are working our hardest to make this podcast, website, and network the best it can possibly be. Seeing this nomination means so much to us all. From the bottom of our nerdy hearts, thank you.
We are thrilled to be part of this community and to be on a list with so many other fantastic people. We are also thrilled to see fellow Network member Melvin Smif’s Geekery being nominate for best website. Be sure to check him out here as well as all the other nominees for the 2016 ENnies here.
If you’re new to the Academy and are here to see what we’re all about, welcome! We’re so happy to have you here! We suggest starting here. Consider this your syllabus for everything we offer for your entertainment and education. And don’t forget to check out everyone in the Network! We are proud to lead this group of outstanding websites and podcasts.
Our motto is simple: if you’re having fun, you’re doing it right. We believe that this is absolutely true and applies to every player and every game. We strive to support players and game masters of all types and provide a completely inclusive environment.
Voting for the 2016 ENnies will run from July 11 to July 21. We thank you in advance for your support.
Going forward, we are excited to return to our Wrought Iron 5E Actual Play series and continue the countdown to Table Topic Episode 100! We are also going to be providing more and more frequent written content from both faculty and audience members. And don’t forget that our second annual independent convention AcadeCon is barely 4 months away! There’s no better weekend dedicated to playing games and having fun. We will be in Dayton this year, from November 11th to the 13th. Tickets are available for purchase here. Visit the official AcadeCon website for more details, including info on all of our fantastic special guests and sponsors.
Thanks for visiting the site and listening to the podcast. Your support means the world to us. We have come a long way and are looking forward to continued growth and development. 2016 has already been a great year for the Academy! Let’s keep it going!
