Hello students! Welcome to a new bonus feature on The RPG Academy, Detention!

We were so happy to hear good feedback about this bonus content that we decided to make more!

In this episode, Caleb and Scott are joined by special guest Quinn Wilson from the Swallows of the South podcast! As usual, these episodes are a little more rough around the edges, with less editing to reflect a more conversational tone. They also include more of the tangents, bad jokes, and adult language that we tend to use when we’re hanging out and having fun.

In Extra Curricular, Scott talks about maps, Quinn is the smartest guy in the room, and I read a book. We get into Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and there are some very general spoilers. And we don’t exactly shower it with love. Consider yourself warned. In Dead Campaigns, Quinn shares a story about a family game that attempted to revive itself, but then was committed to its ultimate demise. And we jump off on a tangent about parentage in Exalted. And there’s a special appearance from Quinn’s dog. Lastly, in Class Review, we finish off the classic 4 person party and discuss the Wizard. We all share our personal views on the class and what we like about it. Spoiler,  there’s a lot more that we don’t like. We also definitively prove that bards are better than wizards, if only through a cruel joke at my expense. A great discussion is had about wizards and their roles in other games too.

And finally, stand by for bloopers, brought to you by 10 dads.
