The Trial of Wushu ep 2

Wushu

Hello and welcome to The Trials. Our new system play test Actual Play podcasts from The Rpg Academy. These games are from one-shots of us playing a new system and giving it a trial run.  This is the Trial  of WUSHU by Danile Bayn.  Wushu is an action movie inspired RPG with loose mechanics designed to inspire scenes out of any Van Damme or Stallone movie.

Our GM for this Trial is Andrew ‘That One GM’  @ThatOneGm who did an amazing job.  I can easily say this is one of my favorite series of show’s we’ve ever done!

This episode picks up with our characters facing the punctuality Demons posing as the 1985 Chicago bulls starting line up.

For players –

I am playing Van Darn a TimeCop not unlike, but not copyright infringement  of Van Damme (@theRpgAcademy)

Caleb is playing Larry Smeshen a Private Eye Wizard from Chicago (@TheCalebG)

Matthew is playing Red VI a dinosaur who wears a genetically modified sentient Trench coat  ( @MattParody )

And making his triumphant return to the show is Scott playing a swarm of sentient squirrels that make up the form of an alternate history Annie Oakley.  (@Pachetra)

Comments and Feedback are always welcome.
Thanks!!
~Michael

NOOOO…. the squirrels can’t play the piano any more.

That is certainly a weird game and mad props to the GM on making everything up on the fly and to the players as well for all the crazy stuff that you are coming up with an adding to the world.

Thanks! I have experience with how wild Wushu can get, but these guys were really taking it to the next level. (As a note: you can play a serious game of Wushu. I have done it before.)
