The Trial of Reflections

reflections

Hello and welcome to The Trials. Our new system play test Actual Play podcasts from The Rpg Academy. These games are from one-shots of us playing a new system and giving it a trial run.  This is the Trial of Reflections the first RPG offering by friend of the show Jim McClure. In the base setting, Reflections is game for two players who face off as Samurai who are destined to duel to the death. The game is set in a series of flashbacks that lead back to the moment of the duel. The game allows both players to assume the role of GM as needed.

The game is going to be Kickstarted and your an jump on and support Jim and this amazing game HERE!

If they receive enough funding he has additional writers lined up to write setting material for other genres such as a gunfight at high noon and perhaps wizards dueling or pirates facing off.

Comments and Feedback are always welcome.
Thanks!!
~Michael

WHEN this funds, you need more episodes of it, cause that was awesome

      RR,
Good news is that it has already funded and well on its way to some stretch goals. I can guarantee that if we get a western setting i’ll revisit it again and maybe, just maybe there is another setting we could revisit.

I had already backed it before listening to this episode, and now I’m even more excited to get it into my hands. This was a great listen, and I loved the way the system forces you to tell a great story.
