Dungeon Talk : Bonus Episode 1

Hello all,

During a recent recording Evan and I found ourselves on about a 15 minute tangent. We decided to start over, but thought it might be funny to hear how easily we drifted off the tracks.

So here’s a short outtake.

Hope you enjoy.

Good talk finding out about your past and your groups that you played with and what you did.

I have heard too much regarding George Lucas and with Star Wars this, Star Wars that. He did a great job bringing in Star Wars and continuing on with the later and then the pre. It seems that everyone blames him just because he is the all mighty. What about the CGI people? What about the writers? What about.. What about… What about…

Since I go to movies to enjoy the looks of it, the lame CGI for how much the movies cost to make was kind of disappointing.

As for J. J. Abrams coming in, some of his past movies were YEAH!/Eh!

Cloverfield – Was good (camera work) with him trying to bring the U.S. version of Godzilla.
Lost – Lame. Too drawn out; just end it for _____ sakes.
Super 8 – Good, though true it did seem like a kids growing up movie.

Now they say that history repeats itself.

I am not a Trekkie, so my wife filled me in and saying that…

    Vulcan was never destroyed.
    Spock’s mom was never killed.
Spock and Uhura was never an item.
Kirks dad did not die, so Kirk did have a brother.

So with this, you can only guess what J.J. Abrams is going to do to the new Star Wars movie. Maybe he should just stick to original ideas and George Lucas should continue on with his vision.

True Evan. If a movie is put out with good actors, then that is most likely what will suck people in to watch it; hence J.J. Abrams.

    Yeah Sidetrackin’

And then a cut off with no outro… Hmm…

    Keep on talkin’
